About this opportunity

The United States Agency for International Development in Jordan (USAID/Jordan) is gathering information for a potential Global Health Security (GHS) activity. The activity will focus on strengthening biosecurity and safety, addressing antimicrobial resistance (AMR), and preventing and responding to emerging threats through building One Health capacities that incorporate linkages between human, animal, and environmental health. The activity aims to strengthen health provider practices, health system preparedness, multi-sectoral coordination, and surveillance capabilities to prevent, detect, and respond to disease outbreaks at the primary healthcare level. USAID/Jordan is seeking information from organizations with experience in areas such as optimizing antimicrobial use, improving early warning surveillance and laboratory systems, supporting One Health coordination, and enhancing infection prevention and control. Interested parties are asked to submit written responses to the questions outlined in the attached Request for Information (RFI) and Sources Sought Notice (SSN) by August 8, 2024.

This pre-solicitation notice does not have a set-aside designation, and no potential incumbents or current contractors are named. The potential award value or budget range is not specified. The RFI/SSN is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal or Notice of Funding Opportunity.
