About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center at Eglin Air Force Base is seeking a sole source contract for Joint Air to Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM/LRASM) production and development support. The anticipated 5-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract will incorporate lifecycle support for JASSM/LRASM weapon systems, including system upgrades, integration, production, sustainment, and logistical support for US and foreign government platforms. Interested vendors must submit a capabilities statement no longer than 15 pages by March 17, 2025, at 3:00 PM CST to juan.galindo.2@us.af.mil, demonstrating their ability to meet the contract requirements. The contract will use a combination of Cost-Plus Incentive Fee (CPIF), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), and Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract line items. Vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and indicate their size and socio-economic status relative to the NAICS code 336414.

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is the current producer and is anticipated to be the sole source contractor, as they are the only known company with the detailed technical knowledge required for JASSM/LRASM support. No government-owned technical data package exists to enable competition, and the contract will require substantial initial investment and preparation. The contract period of performance is estimated from June 15, 2025, to June 14, 2032, with an anticipated award date of June 30, 2025. While no set-aside has been definitively determined, the government reserves the right to consider a small business set-aside based on the responses received. Small businesses with partial capabilities are encouraged to submit statements, which may help identify potential subcontracting opportunities. The NAICS code size standard is 1,250 persons, and vendors must disclose their ownership status, including any foreign ownership or use of foreign national employees.
