About this opportunity
The National Park Service, Midwest Region, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid for replacement of cooling tower and boiler units at Gateway Arch National Park in St. Louis, Missouri, with solicitation release anticipated in late May or early June 2026 and award expected by Summer 2026. JEFF REPLACE COOLING TOWER AND BOILERS
PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE:
The National Park Service, CONOPS ¿ Central, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the Replace Cooling Tower and Boiler Units project for the Gateway Arch National Park in St. Louis, Missouri.
At the grounds building the work will consist of the following: One new boiler will be installed to provide heat to both reheat and radiant floor system with a heat exchanger installed to lower the water temperature for the radiant in floor system. At the Arch complex, the cooling tower will be replaced by a new 800 T counterflow cooling tower, as part of the project, new condenser water pumps will be installed. We anticipate that work would begin in Fall 2026.
SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6026B0003
PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000
TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by Summer 2026 with performance to begin in Fall 2026.
Construction Wage Rate Requirements for St. Louis, MO will apply.
