About this opportunity
The International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) issued a sole source justification notice (77344422F0093) for continued Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services under the Professional Support category (NAICS 541611, PSC R499). DFC justified the sole source award to the current contractor to maintain continuity of Automated Investment Account (AIA) support services for a three-month transition period while the agency recompetes the existing AIA contract, which experienced delays due to the government shutdown. The rationale for this sole source action centers on the critical need for a structured transition between contractors to facilitate the orderly transfer of responsibilities, knowledge transfer, employee onboarding, relocation, badging, and other administrative requirements that would be disrupted by an immediate change in service providers. An award was made on December 17, 2025, to the incumbent contractor under contract 77344420D0001; however, the awarded vendor name and contract value are not disclosed in the available documentation. The three-month service period represents the estimated timeline required to complete the follow-on contract recompetition process and allow the successor contractor to assume full operational responsibilities.
Notice text
DFC requires a sole source action to the current contractor for three months to continue AIA
support. DFC is currently recompeting the existing AIA contract, which was delayed due to the
government shutdown. There is a need for a transition period between contractors to allow for
transition of responsibilities and knowledge, onboarding, relocation, badging, etc. Therefore, it is
in the best interest of the Government to continue services with the existing contractor while the
follow-on contract is being recompeted.
Awarded contract 77344420D0001 to unknown vendor for unknown amount on 2025-12-17.
