This sources sought notice does not utilize a set-aside designation, indicating the procurement will be open to full and open competition, though the VA notes that the final acquisition strategy may include consideration for set-asides reserved for service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or other small business categories. No incumbent contractor or current vendor information is identified in this market research notice. The specific award value or total budget for this repair contract has not been disclosed in the solicitation materials. The scope of work is focused on component replacement within a single dietary kitchen location, suggesting a discrete, project-based repair effort rather than an ongoing service contract. Prospective vendors should note that compliance with subcontracting limitations will be evaluated, and contractors must clarify whether they intend to self-perform the work or utilize subcontractors to complete the required repairs.
