About this opportunity

The Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts is seeking information on solutions to cyclically replace their current IT Monitoring and Management (IMM) system with an equivalent or better solution. The government is requesting that respondents indicate whether they can meet the salient characteristics outlined, which include requirements such as log collection, single user interface, PerfStack capabilities, VPN and bandwidth monitoring, integration with cloud and on-premises environments, reporting and alerting capabilities, and compliance management. Respondents who cannot meet all salient characteristics are asked to explain how their alternate solution meets or exceeds the government's requirements. The RFI includes a list of the current SolarWinds components and quantities that comprise the existing IMM solution, as well as instructions for submitting responses and a set of questions for industry. This will be a fully open competition for the replacement of the government's IMM system.

The RFI does not mention any set-aside designations, and there is no information provided about potential incumbents or current contractors. The government has not specified a budget range or award value for the project, and the quantity of goods or timeline for services is not explicitly stated.

Notice text

Sources Sought on IT Monitoring and Management (IMM) Cyclical Replacement Project.  The government currently envisions the cyclical replacement of it's current IMM solution to an equivalent or better solution.  It does, however, recognize that there may be alternate solutions that are capable of meeting or exceeding its current needs. For this reason, the government is requesting that respondents to this RFI provide a cover sheet indicating they meet or exceed the salient characteristics and offer any other alternate solutions. For those respondents who indicate they do not meet all salient characteristics, please indicate how the alternate solution meets or exceeds the government's requirements, including any major or minor advantages and disadvantages of the alternate solution.  This will be fully open competition.
