About this opportunity
The U.S. Embassy Bangkok (Department of State) is procuring 14 iPhone 17 Pro Max devices with protective cases and screen protectors, with quotations due September 9, 2026, at 12:00 PM Bangkok local time, and questions due September 4 at 12:00 PM Bangkok local time. The procurement is restricted to brand-name Apple products under FAR 12.102(a) sole-source justification, foreclosing competition to other manufacturers.
Place of performance is Thailand, with delivery to U.S. Embassy Bangkok required within 30 days of contract award. Delivery windows are restricted to 8:00–11:30 AM or 1:00–4:00 PM Monday through Thursday, with three working days' advance notice required. The requirement specifies iPhone 17 Pro Max 512 GB in Silver or Deep Blue, National Geographic Protective Cases in Black or Matte Black, and premium tempered glass screen protectors rated 9H hardness. All items must be new, genuine products with manufacturer's warranty executable in Thailand, factory unlocked, and compatible with Thailand's 5G/LTE network bands. The contractor bears all shipping costs, customs clearance, tariffs, and licensing requirements, including National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission permits.
Award will go to the lowest-priced acceptable quoter based on initial quotations without discussions, unless competitive-range discussions become necessary. Completion of the Cybersecurity Supply Chain Risk Management Questionnaire is a go/no-go evaluation factor. U.S.-based firms may price in U.S. dollars and receive payment in U.S. dollars; non-U.S. firms must price in Thai Baht and receive payment in local currency. Pricing must exclude VAT and all U.S. taxes. Quotations must be submitted electronically in PDF format not exceeding 25 MB, and offerors must be registered in SAM prior to submission. NAICS code is 334220 (Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing); PSC is 7E21 (IT and Telecom—Mobile Device Products).
