The Bureau of Reclamation, Interior Region 8: Lower Colorado Basin has a requirement for interpretive exhibit fabrication and installation services for the Hoover Dam, Visitors Center in Boulder City, NV. The work consists of fabrication and installation of interpretive exhibits, removal of existing interpretive exhibits, refurbish and re-install; fabrication and installation of custom artifact mounts; installation of lighting and audiovisual equipment, painting scenic murals, etc.
The Government will be issuing a separate contract for renovation of the visitor center simultaneous to this requirement. Therefore, the contractor for this project shall be required to participate in regular coordination meetings with the Government and the general contractor of the renovation project. Contractor shall work closely with Government and the general contractor on all matters where work overlaps including scheduling, layout, access, potential installation conflicts, electrical and mechanical connections, and any other coordination activities throughout the period of performance of this contract.
The requirement is anticipated to be Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract.
This acquisition will be pursued in accordance with FAR Part 15 and in accordance with the source selection evaluation criteria included in the Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government intends to evaluate proposals submitted under this solicitation and select a source for contract award without discussions (unless the contracting officer later determines discussions to be necessary).
A site visit is tentatively scheduled on July 14, 2022; however, please refer to the solicitation for official details when posted.
It is anticipated that the solicitation, in the form of an RFP, will be issued on or about July 07, 2022. No documents will be available until the solicitation is issued.
The solicitation will only be issued electronically via www.SAM.gov . All parties are responsible for checking the SAM website to ensure that they have the most current information. All dates in this announcement are estimates and are subject to change. The solicitation once issued will contain instructions for submitting questions. No questions regarding this acquisition will be accepted or addressed/answered prior to the formal solicitation issuance.
