About this opportunity
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking a registrar services contractor to maintain the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center's (MMAC) certifications in ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 quality management standards. The procurement is currently in a Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought Notice phase, designed to identify potential vendors and gather market intelligence about capabilities for this project. The contract will require a Project Manager/Certified Lead Auditor who can provide support lead auditor services across these specific ISO standards, with vendors expected to demonstrate substantial expertise and technical qualifications in managing integrated quality management systems. The FAA is specifically seeking a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimate of project effort and cost from interested parties. The response deadline is February 16, 2025, with the pre-solicitation notice posted on February 1, 2025, and interested vendors must submit their information through SAM.gov.
This pre-solicitation notice does not represent a guaranteed procurement and includes no specific set-aside designations for small businesses or other categories. The FAA has not disclosed a specific estimated contract value or budget range for this opportunity, and respondents are advised that any costs incurred in preparing their response will be entirely at their own expense. The contract will be categorized under NAICS code 541611 for Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services, with a Product Service Code (PSC) of R704 for Management Auditing support. While the full acquisition strategy has not been finalized, the FAA intends to use the responses to help define future solicitation requirements. Potential vendors should be aware that this notice does not guarantee a subsequent procurement, and the government reserves the right to use the gathered information at its discretion for future planning.
