About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure 18 Interface Unit, Comm (Communication) items with National Stock Number 7R-5895-016754014-RQ. This pre-solicitation notice indicates the government intends to negotiate with a single source under FAR 6.302-1 authority, though they are open to receiving capability statements or proposals from interested parties within 45 days of publication. The evaluation will focus on whether the offeror, product/service, and manufacturer meet the specified qualification requirements.

No specific set-aside designation has been applied to this contract opportunity. The total quantity requested is 18 units, with delivery specified as FOB Origin. While no specific award value is mentioned, the contract will be awarded only to sources demonstrating full compliance with qualification standards. Interested vendors have 15 days to identify commercial item capabilities that might satisfy the government's requirements. The proposal submission deadline is April 29, 2025, with potential for award under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) that could shorten the response window to 30 days. The procurement falls under the Information Technology and Telecom - Network: Analog Voice Products category, suggesting this is a specialized communication equipment procurement for naval systems.
