About this opportunity
Air Combat Command issued a sole-source intent notice on June 5, 2026 for eight High Assurance Internet Protocol Encryptor (HAIPE) systems to be procured from NexTech Solutions under FAR 6.302-1, with a response deadline of June 10, 2026. The 355th Communication Squadron requires these TUCK-19 systems to establish a mobile Mission Planning Cell supporting expeditionary operations and Mission Generation Force Element deployments.
The required systems must deliver both NIPRNet and SIPRNet connectivity from austere global locations, with a minimum of 8 ports per protocol per system. Additional specifications include ruggedized construction capable of withstanding environmental exposure, internal battery power using replaceable MIL-STD radio batteries plus external AC power, integrated crypto sled, and multiple dirty-internet integration options including built-in 5G SIM card ports and Starshield terminal compatibility. Systems must achieve single-person portability and setup/teardown in under 10 minutes.
Market research identified multiple HAIPE-capable competitors, including Cubic and Curtiss-Wright solutions, and posting on NASA SEWP attracted 127 prospective bidders. The Government determined that only NexTech's TUCK-19 uniquely combines the required operational, environmental, and integration capabilities. Although this is not a competitive solicitation, all responsible sources may submit capability statements within three work days of publication for Government consideration.
