Notice text
TheJoseph Maxwell Cleland Atlanta VA Medical Center has a (1) Mozart 3-D Specimen Tomosynthesis System from KUB Technologies, for X-rays of breast specimens after localization lumpectomies or excisions. Mozart iQ system utilizes 3D specimen tomosynthesis (the standard of care in breast cancer surgery) to take X-ray images of breast specimens. Viewing the image in 3 dimensions allows for accurate and precise identification of the tumor and clip, which can be obscured by dense tissue on traditional 2D imaging. Currently, Atlanta VA does not have such a device.
