Posted on March 9, 2026, this notice indicates the government's intention to award work directly to Westnet without competitive bidding. The procurement falls under NAICS code 541511 (Custom Computer Programming Services) with a large business size standard of $34 million, and is classified under Product Service Code DA01 for IT and telecom business application development support services. While this is not a request for competitive quotes and no formal solicitation will be issued, the notice invites interested parties to submit capability documentation demonstrating their ability to fulfill the stated requirements by the March 24, 2026 deadline at 8:00 A.M. The objective of this procurement is to execute a comprehensive address update for the First-In Alerting System at Eielson Air Force Base, with a completion target of March 2026. The contractor must complete four primary tasks: perform and verify a full system database backup, remotely reconfigure the alerting system database to replace legacy building numbers with government-provided street address data, deploy an OEM-certified technician for on-site integration and Zone Information Reporting Display updates, and validate system performance through functional testing. Interested contractors must submit detailed capability documentation and technical background to Gabriel Jones (gabriel.jones.16@us.af.mil) and Tara Richmond (tara.richmond@us.af.mil) by the stated deadline. Key requirements include obtaining base notification 72 hours before site operations, ensuring all employees meet REAL ID compliance standards for base passes, and complying with all base safety and security regulations. While Westnet is the intended sole-source recipient, other vendors believing they can meet the stated requirements are encouraged to formally express interest and capability, though the government retains sole discretion regarding any competitive decision.
