About this opportunity

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Norfolk District has issued a Special Notice announcing its intent to sign a Supplemental Agreement (DACA65-9-20-046-SA6) with Rest Easy LLC for extending an In-License agreement. The notice specifically relates to providing on-post lodging for U.S. Army Reserve students participating in Institutional Training across multiple military installations. The opportunity involves facilities located in various states including Texas, Alabama, Oklahoma, Kansas, Virginia, and others, spanning 18 total military installations. The notice was posted on January 31, 2025, with a response deadline of March 3, 2025. The contract falls under the NAICS category of Other Activities Related to Real Estate and is classified under the PSC category for Lease/Rental of Other Residential Buildings.

The primary objective of this Special Notice is to extend lodging capabilities for Army Reserve students while maintaining an open opportunity for alternative contractors to demonstrate their capabilities. The Army is allowing other responsible sources to submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations for consideration, despite Rest Easy LLC being initially identified as the primary provider. Contractors interested in participating must submit their correspondence in writing or via electronic mail by 5:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time on March 3, 2025. Submissions should be addressed to the Chief of Real Estate at the U.S. Army Engineer Corps of Engineers, Norfolk District, with electronic submissions accepted at caroline.c.mccown@usace.army.mil. Eligible contractors must demonstrate the ability to provide comprehensive on-post lodging services across the specified military installations, with the opportunity presenting a potentially significant contract for real estate and lodging service providers.
