About this opportunity

The Department of the Army Utah Army National Guard (UTARNG) has issued a Special Notice indicating its intent to award a 5-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) on a sole source basis to the Utah Communications Authority (UCA). The BPA will be for repeater communication support services throughout the state of Utah.

The purpose of this sole source procurement is to enable UTARNG to maintain emergency telecommunications services and communication capabilities with its units, the State Emergency Operations Center, and flight operations. UCA is the only vendor in Utah that can provide the required repeater site space, microwave capability, and communication authority. The period of performance is from August 1, 2024 through July 31, 2029, with a total estimated value of $22,500. Interested parties have until July 29, 2024 to demonstrate their ability to provide the required capabilities, but a determination by the government not to compete this procurement is solely within its discretion. If no responses are received, UTARNG will proceed with the sole source award to UCA.
