About this file
This document is a Sole Source Justification and Approval under FAR 13.501 for a 5-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) between the Utah Army National Guard (UTARNG) and the Utah Communications Authority (UCA) for repeater communication support services throughout the state of Utah.
UCA is the sole source provider for this requirement, as they are the only vendor in Utah that can provide the necessary repeater site space, microwave capability, and communication authority. The BPA will cover services at two locations - Francis Peak and Lake Mountain - to maintain communications with UTARNG units and the State Emergency Operations Center, as well as enable communication with flight operations. The total estimated 5-year BPA amount is $22,500. UCA is registered as a large business, and competition will not be pursued for this sole source requirement in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a). The period of performance is from August 1, 2024 through July 31, 2029.
