About this opportunity
This solicitation from the United States Agency for International Development Uganda seeks offers for the Integrated Child and Youth Development Activity contract to deliver basic education and orphan and vulnerable children services to strengthen youth engagement, health, safety, and potential across target districts in Uganda. The contractor must provide early grade reading support, address primary school retention, deliver critical OVC services while building local partner capacity for up to two years, provide technical assistance to OVC service providers, and support transition of service delivery from donor support to Ugandan public, civil society, and private entities. The purpose of the Integrated Child and Youth Development Activity is to deliver basic education and OVC services to children and youth in target districts across Uganda by strengthening young people’s ability to critically engage with their environment, address their health and safety needs, and make it more likely to reach their potential. A guiding principle of this acquisition is the need to transition PEPFAR/OVC service delivery to Ugandan public, civil society, and private sector actors.
