About this opportunity
Department of the Army Materiel Command Mission and Installation Contracting Command Fort Sam Houston anticipates soliciting for procurement, delivery, and installation of modular acoustic privacy pods and office equipment at Fort McNair, Washington, D.C., with sources-sought responses due August 5, 2026 by 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time. No set-aside is anticipated. Performance occurs at Building 39, Joint Task Force-National Capital Region, Fort McNair, with work scheduled for 28–29 September 2026 under a firm fixed-price arrangement.
The requirement spans fourteen modular acoustic privacy pods: one POD-A unit (10 x 11 feet) and eleven POD-B units (8 x 11 feet), each with 92-inch-high frames, glass fronts and backs, motion-detection lighting, ventilation systems, and electrical and data connections. Each pod includes a 30" D x 60" W D-shaped desk, height-adjustable table, dual monitor arms, credenza with hutch and LED task lighting, tackboard, storage drawers, and wardrobe tower, all with key-alike locks. All equipment and materials must be new, TAA-compliant, and meet ANSI/BIFMA and fire-testing criteria, 100% compatible with existing government infrastructure.
The contract supports workspace renovations for the Personnel Directorate and Equine Proponent Directorate, addressing operational security risks and reducing exposure of personally identifiable information in an open office configuration. The contractor must conduct field verification of building and electrical conditions, provide a full-time project manager, manage installation coordination with the Contracting Officer Representative, perform quality control and debris removal, and deliver closeout documentation including warranty information within one week of completion. Operations are Monday–Friday, 0700–1700, excluding federal holidays.
NAICS 337214; PSC 7110. Interested vendors should submit firm identification, business size classification, relevant experience, and pricing to Contracting Officer Oswald Pascal (oswald.pascal.civ@army.mil) or Contract Specialist Crystal Tisdale (crystal.w.tisdale.civ@army.mil).
