About this opportunity
United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) is conducting market research through a Request for Information (RFI) on innovative autonomous transportation capabilities across all modes—air, land, sea, and multi-modal—for both passenger and cargo movements, with responses due by May 26, 2026 at 12:00 PM CST.
USTRANSCOM seeks unclassified information on commercial and developmental autonomous and semi-autonomous solutions to enhance safety, efficiency, velocity, and global reach in support of globally integrated mobility operations and the Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise. Respondents must address seven categories: company profile and commercial autonomous logistics experience; current fielded autonomous platforms including payload capacities, operational range, operating environments, and Technology Readiness Level; developmental roadmaps with research and development timelines spanning three to ten years; scalability and flexibility for dynamic routing across capacity ranges; interoperability with existing logistics nodes and command-and-control networks; cybersecurity and resilience approaches for contested environments; and regulatory navigation strategies for FAA, IMO, and DOT compliance.
Responses are limited to 15 pages maximum (excluding cover page and marketing brochures) in PDF or standard commercial formats. Proprietary information must be clearly marked. Submit responses to Ms. Brenda Marshall, USTRANSCOM Directorate of Acquisition, at brenda.l.marshall10.civ@mail.mil or 618-817-9385.
