About this opportunity
The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has issued a Special Notice for Infrastructure Operations Office (IOO) Operations and Maintenance Services (O&M). The purpose of this notice is to inform contractors of HUD's plan to consolidate its existing IT Operations and Maintenance services contracts into a single enterprise-wide requirement to be competed on the GSA Alliant 2 GWAC.
The objective of this consolidation is to provide end-to-end lifecycle support for HUD's IT infrastructure and eDiscovery capabilities, including physical data centers, cloud services, and IT services across HUD's enterprise. The estimated total value for the 5-year (60-month) period of performance, including options, is $XXXXXXXXXXX. The procurement will be competed on an unrestricted basis under FAR Part 16.505 fair opportunity procedures, as market research found that no small businesses are capable of performing the work. The key benefits of this consolidation include cost savings, improved quality control, reduced procurement lead time, and better terms and conditions.
Notice text
