About this opportunity
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Technical Center issued this Special Notice on January 15, 2026, regarding Infrastructure and Operations Services Support. The announcement pertains to a modification of existing task order DTFAWA10A-00018-0002 and is classified as a single-source procurement action under the FAA's Acquisition Management System Policy 3.2.2.4. This is an informational announcement only and does not constitute a solicitation or request for proposal. The FAA will not accept competitive bids for this particular action, and interested parties should not incur costs in preparing responses. The opportunity falls under the Engineering Services NAICS category (541330) and IT and Telecom Management Support Services (DF01) PSC code.
The FAA intends to increase the ceiling and extend the period of performance for the existing task order by 90 days, running from February 1, 2026, through April 30, 2026. The primary objective of this extension is to maintain continuity of current Infrastructure and Operations support services while the FAA develops and executes a competitive procurement strategy for a follow-on contract under the Information Technology Innovative Procurement for Strategic Sourcing (ITIPSS) program. The due date for inquiries is January 16, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, with questions directed to Daniel Leary at daniel.f.leary@faa.gov. Only the incumbent contractor holding task order DTFAWA10A-00018-0002 is eligible to receive this modification, as this is a single-source award to an existing contractor. The FAA disclaims liability for any costs associated with preparing responses to this informational announcement.
