About this opportunity
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Technical Center is seeking a two-month extension for an existing task order (DTFAWA10A-00018-0002) providing Infrastructure and Operations (I&O) support services. The extension is designed to enable continuation of current work while the agency prepares to competitively award a follow-on contract under the Information Technology Innovative Procurement for Strategic Sourcing (ITIPSS) program. This pre-solicitation notice is informational and indicates the FAA will use single source procedures to modify the existing task order by increasing its ceiling. Interested parties may submit questions to Daniel Leary at daniel.f.leary@faa.gov by 11:30 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on February 25, 2025. The procurement falls under the Engineering Services NAICS category (541330) and specifically targets IT and Telecom management support services.
The pre-solicitation notice indicates no specific set-aside designations for this procurement. The task order modification will extend the current contract's period of performance by two months, with a focus on maintaining continuity of I&O support services. While specific award values are not detailed, the modification involves increasing the ceiling of the existing task order to support ongoing work. The contract is classified under the IT Management Support Services product service code (DF01) and is part of a civilian agency procurement strategy. The FAA emphasizes that this announcement does not constitute a formal solicitation, and the agency will not be liable for any costs associated with potential responses to the notice.
