About this opportunity
The United States Air Force, specifically the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC), is hosting a two-day Industry Day event focused on the Long Range Stand Off (LRSO) Carriage Equipment (CE) Program for the B-52 Weapon System. Scheduled for January 29-30, 2025, the event will take place at The Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo, California. The industry day is designed to provide contractors with detailed information about program priorities and offer opportunities for in-person engagement. Limited to the first ten contractors who register, each company is permitted to send three personnel to participate. The event will be structured across two days, with the first day featuring program overviews, B-52 Pylon inspections, and potential one-on-one sessions, while the second day will be dedicated exclusively to individual contractor meetings.
Contractors interested in participating must meet specific registration requirements by January 9, 2025, at 1600 CST, which include submitting an email to government points of contact with comprehensive company and participant information. Registration materials must include the company's Unique Entity ID, CAGE code, business size, socio-economic status, and detailed participant information, along with a completed DD Form 2345 and a two-page capabilities statement. Eligibility is open to all contractors, with no specific set-aside restrictions, though registration is competitive due to the limited ten-company capacity. The primary objective of this industry day is engagement and market research, with the government explicitly stating that this is not a Request for Proposal and will not result in an immediate contract award. The event provides a unique opportunity for contractors to gain insights into the LRSO Carriage Equipment Program, understand its mission objectives, and potentially establish connections with Air Force procurement personnel.
