About this opportunity

The Department of the Army Materiel Command Contracting Command Detroit Arsenal has issued a Special Notice for an Industry Day event regarding the Soft Kill Active Protection System (APS) for Ground Combat Vehicles. The event will be held on November 19, 2024 at the Velocity Center in Sterling Heights, Michigan and is open only to members of the National Advanced Mobility Consortium (NAMC).

The purpose of the Industry Day is for the Government to brief industry on the Soft Kill APS requirements, which include a modular, safety-compliant, and expandable system that can detect, identify, and neutralize incoming anti-armor threats. The Government anticipates pursuing a follow-on production effort under 10 U.S.C. 2371b(f) for the successful prototype project. Contractors must submit any questions through NAMC by November 13, 2024, as there will be no live Q&A during the event. The Special Notice provides point of contact information for further details.
