About this opportunity
The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Europe Africa Central (EURAFCENT) Expeditionary has issued a Special Notice announcing an Industry Forum scheduled for June 26, 2025, at 1300 hours in Chisinau, Moldova. This tentative posting is pending final confirmation of NAVFAC participation and will be held at the Courtyard Chisinau hotel. The forum is designed to provide information on upcoming projects and contracting opportunities with the US Government to industry partners interested in providing design and construction solutions to the Navy. The Department of the Army is also hosting a morning session from 1000-1200 on the same day under a separate notice. This conference represents an opportunity for contractors to gain familiarity with contracting processes for NAVFAC and the US Government in general.
The primary purpose of this Industry Forum is to inform potential contractors about upcoming construction contracting opportunities in Moldova, including projects such as the renovation of Comrat Regional Hospital (estimated at $900K) and construction of new fire rescue stations in Glodeni and Falesti (estimated at $1M+ each). Contractors interested in attending must contact Mr. Daniel Magrino via email no later than June 23, 2025, providing attendee information and limiting representation to two individuals per company due to space constraints. Questions for the forum must also be submitted to the same contact by the June 23 deadline. The agenda will cover topics including the NAVFAC EURAFCENT Expeditionary Program, solicitation structure, eligibility criteria, design-build and design-bid-build methodologies, proposal requirements, and registration processes for SAM.gov and PIEE. Contractors must register with SAM.gov, obtain NCAGE codes, and submit proposals electronically through the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment, with awards based on either Lowest Price Technically Acceptable or best-value trade-off methods.
