About this opportunity

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District, is hosting an Industry Day on 26 October 2026 at 10:00 AM AKDT for its planned construction procurement of an Area Maintenance Support Activity (AMSA) / Vehicle Maintenance Shop (VMS) at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. No set-aside is used. The event is open to prime and subcontractors registered in SAM.gov under NAICS 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and attendees should arrive NLT 0930 at the Ft. Richardson Gate. The Government plans a single construction contract solicitation for a one-story facility of approximately 13,000 gross square feet, including vehicle maintenance work bays, fluids areas, a communications and electrical repair shop, a covered wash rack, and a water treatment facility.

This notice is not an RFP, IFB, or RFQ, and it does not commit the Government to contract. The Government does not reimburse travel or information-submission costs. The expected solicitation number changed to W912QR27RA007. Industry Day slides posted 29 October 2026 indicate proposals due by January 2027, source selection in February 2027, and award in March 2027. Evaluation uses a single-phase best value tradeoff with past performance, management plan, and small business participation plan factors, collectively weighted approximately equal to price. All offerors must submit a small business participation plan, and only large businesses must submit a subcontracting plan. No Project Labor Agreement applies. Site visits are optional, and RFIs are submitted through ProjNet.org.
