About this opportunity
The Washington Headquarters Services Occupational Safety and Health Branch seeks industrial hygiene and safety support services. Interested parties must demonstrate capability to supplement government staff by providing trained personnel for hazard identification and surveys, accident investigations, confined space permitting and monitoring, drinking water sampling, regulatory research and interpretation, data collection and analysis, embedded construction safety, and training support. Proposals will be evaluated based on company information, facility clearance status, GSA schedules, past performance under NAICS 541620, business size and NAICS classification, and technical capability description. The deadline for capability statements is December 27, 2023.
This requirement is set aside as an 8(a) competitive acquisition. NAICS code 541620 will be assigned, and services are to be provided over a one-year base period and four one-year options, with potential for a six-month extension. Current contractors under the incumbent IDIQ may submit proposals to be considered alongside new offerors. Interested vendors should provide input on preferred contract types and past performance examples of similar requirements to aid the government's acquisition strategy development.

INSTRUCTIONS: All interested parties shall provide the following information/points in your capability statements:
1) Company Name and Address.
2) Company Point of Contact, Phone number and email.
3) Unique Entity ID (UEI) and CAGE Code Number.
4) Company Facility Clearance status (Secret, Top Secret, None).
5) Indicate if your company is currently holding one or more General Services Administration (GSA) schedules. If so, please provide schedule numbers and contract numbers of a similar effort. The government may use this information to determine the most appropriate acquisition strategy for any resultant requirement.
6) Recommended/suggested NAICS codes for this effort.
7) NAICS Codes associated with the Company.
8) Identify contracts your company has been awarded under NAICS 541620.
9) Specific examples of prior efforts similar to the requirement; please include:
- contract type (FFP, CPFF, etc.),
- contract award amount,
- contract number,
- period of performance, and
- Government Point of Contract name and email address.
10) Business Size under NAICS and Classification (Other than Small Business, Small Business, 8(a) Small Business, HubZone Small Business, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Woman-Owned Small Business and Economically Disadvantaged Women-owned Small Business.).
11) Description of your company’s capability to provide the above mentioned technical requirement.
