The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 7 is seeking industrial hygiene services for the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center located in Charleston, South Carolina. The contractor will provide comprehensive industrial hygiene monitoring, testing, and analysis services including assessments for asbestos, lead, and mold across medical facilities. Key qualifications for potential contractors include Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification, SCDHEC licenses, and minimum three years of VA hospital experience. Contractors must demonstrate the ability to respond within 24 hours of task order acceptance and be located within commuting distance of the medical center. The contract will have a base period from February 2, 2025 through February 1, 2026, with potential for four additional one-year option periods extending through February 1, 2030. Services will cover industrial hygiene needs in South Carolina and Georgia, including airborne mold spore trap analysis, surface mold analysis, lead bulk/direct analysis, asbestos air monitoring, and USP 797/800 environmental analysis. The contract will incorporate Wage Determination No. 2015-4427, Revision No. 27 dated July 22, 2024. Performance will be located in Charleston, SC, with services to be provided on an as-needed, requested basis for various medical center requirements.

The contractor shall perform IH monitoring/testing/analysis on as needed/requested basis for the various needs of the medical center to include but not limited to asbestos, lead, mold. Prior to each monitoring/testing or sampling/analysis/field services/equipment & media costs, the contractor must provide a projected task order for the requested tasks(s). Proposed task order shall be emailed to Contracting Officer Representative (COR) the same day they are contacted. Services shall be provided within one working day (24 hours) of accepted proposed task order or scheduled for a date acceptable for RHJ VA Medical Center.
