About this opportunity

The Medical Readiness Contracting Office - West (MRCO-W) at JBSA Fort Sam Houston, Texas, has issued a Sources Sought Notice to identify potential contractors capable of providing two In-vivo Dosimetry systems for the Radiology Department at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC). This market research initiative is being conducted by the Department of the Army Medical Command to determine if there are adequate qualified contractors who can meet the specialized medical equipment requirements. The systems must provide real-time dose measurement capabilities for both stationary and rotational radiotherapy modalities, with the ability to measure doses across a range from low to high energy photons and electrons. The equipment must also integrate directly with Varian's ARIA Oncology Information System and maintain FDA 510(k) clearance. This notice represents preliminary market research rather than a formal solicitation for quotes or proposals.

The primary purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to conduct market research and identify potential sources as part of MRCO-W's procurement planning process, with no current Request for Quote existing. Interested contractors must submit capability statements by 10:00 AM CST on June 25, 2025, via email to the designated contracting officer, including their organization details, CAGE code, UEI, and confirmation of their ability to meet the technical requirements outlined in Attachment 1. Contractors should not include pricing information in their responses, though they may indicate if they can fulfill the requirement through existing contract vehicles such as GSA schedules. The government will not compensate respondents for any costs associated with preparing their capability statements, and all proprietary information submitted will be protected accordingly. This notice serves solely for information gathering and planning purposes, with no commitment from the government to proceed with a formal procurement based on the responses received.
