About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command is conducting a Sources Sought notice (FA8075-25-R-0001) to assess industry capabilities for a follow-on DoD Information Analysis Centers Multiple Award Contract (IACMAC), which will procure customized Research and Development services across highly specialized focus areas including autonomous systems, cybersecurity, weapons systems modeling, critical infrastructure protection, and C4ISR. The IACMAC will be an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract serving hundreds of requiring activities throughout the Department of Defense, including all military services, combatant commands, DoD laboratories, and other federal agencies. A key requirement of this contract is the mandate to investigate existing Scientific and Technical Information and share newly generated technical information across the government for broader use. The government will evaluate responses based on company capabilities across technical domains, financial viability, facility clearance status, certifications, past performance, and organizational structure. Interested companies must submit a completed RFI Questionnaire to 55cons.pkc.iacmac@us.af.mil no later than 12 PM Central on Thursday, April 24, 2025, with responses being voluntary and used for acquisition planning purposes only.

This Sources Sought notice contains no set-aside designations, though the RFI questionnaire explores potential contract structures that may include separate pools for unrestricted and small business participants in the follow-on solicitation. No current contractor names or award values are specified in this pre-solicitation notice, as the purpose is solely to gather market intelligence to inform the acquisition strategy for the future IACMAC contract. The questionnaire requires respondents to demonstrate relevant experience, with revised guidance permitting submissions demonstrating at least six months of performance within three years of the RFI. Responses will not be considered commitments by the government, and no reimbursement will be provided for submission costs. The government will use the information gathered to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy and structure for the follow-on IACMAC, which will ultimately serve as a critical vehicle for delivering specialized research and development services across the entire DoD enterprise.
