About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support is conducting market research on behalf of the U.S. Army for a Monoplace Hyperbaric Chamber to be delivered and installed in Taltal, Antofagasta, Chile. The procurement requires a single-patient chamber capable of hyperbaric oxygen therapy treatments up to 3 Atmosphere Absolute Pressure, with specific technical requirements including FDA approval, 220V/50Hz power compatibility, two-way communication system, and a stretcher. Vendors must demonstrate capabilities for delivery and installation in Chile, provide training in Spanish, and submit detailed equipment specifications along with approximate pricing. The government is seeking responses that address equipment details, delivery and installation feasibility, usage parameters, power specifications, warranty information, and cost estimates. Vendor responses to this Request for Information are due by 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on June 24, 2025, and must be submitted via email to the designated contracting officers.
This opportunity has no set-aside designation and is open to all qualified vendors. No incumbent contractors or potential award values are specified in the notice, as this is strictly a market research effort to inform future acquisition planning. The requirement is for a single hyperbaric chamber unit to support medical operations in Chile, with the government emphasizing that this RFI does not constitute a solicitation and no contract award is anticipated from these submissions. The government reserves the right to use submitted information in future acquisition documents without compensation to respondents or identification of the information source. Timeline details beyond the June 24th response deadline are not provided, as DLA Troop Support is still in the process of developing the formal solicitation and does not yet have a solicitation number assigned.
