About this opportunity

The United States Marine Corps has awarded contract M0068125C0005 to LN CURTIS & SONS for $97,608.00 to provide annual inspection, testing, diagnostics, and maintenance services for HURST brand emergency response equipment across four Marine Corps installations in California. The contract covers approximately 43 pieces of HURST equipment including spreaders, cutters, combination spreader/cutters, rams, and strong arms located at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center 29 Palms, and Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. This sole-source procurement was justified based on LN CURTIS & SONS' exclusive licensing agreement with HURST Jaws of Life, Inc. and their authorized service territory covering San Bernardino and San Diego counties where these installations are located. The maintenance services are required by National Fire Protection Association standards and manufacturer specifications to ensure the critical safety equipment remains operational for the Fire and Emergency Services Departments at these facilities.
