About this opportunity

Brookhaven National Laboratory, operating under the Department of Energy Office of Science, is seeking competitive quotes for a Huber Z Translation Stage with component parts on a firm fixed price basis through Amendment No. 1 to this solicitation, which removes the previous SBA set-aside designation. The procurement includes nine line items comprising laboratory equipment and components including z-translation stages, gears, stepper motors, circle segments, and a linear stage, with no substitutes permitted. Vendors must submit all-inclusive FFP quotes that include the current date, Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), country of origin, lead time, and documentation of their best available pricing supported by published price lists or equivalent pricing evidence to satisfy Department of Energy justification requirements. Quotes must be received by May 7, 2026, and all vendors are required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database with their UEI number, with foreign vendors required to submit an AMS-Form-050 when applicable. The evaluation will prioritize pricing competitiveness and vendor compliance with registration and documentation requirements.

The procurement is not designated as a set-aside for any particular business category, making it fully open to all qualified vendors. The draft purchase order specifies a delivery deadline of July 15, 2026, with payment terms of Net 10 and freight prepaid via UPS Ground to Brookhaven National Laboratory's Building 98 facility in Upton, New York 11973. All nine line items are requested in single unit quantities, with specific quality assurance requirements including ISO 9001 certification or equivalent, certificates of conformance with each shipment, and compliance with BNL-QA-101 standards. The work is classified under NAICS 334516 (Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing) and PSC 6632 (Analysis Instruments, Medical Laboratory Use), with the contractual representative identified as Beth Gilman. The resulting purchase order will be subject to Brookhaven Science Associates' General Terms and Conditions (Rev. 23.0, May 2025) and all applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation and Department of Energy Acquisition Regulation clauses.
