About this opportunity
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is soliciting quotes for an HPE DFW Technical Refresh procurement through RFQ# CORHQ-25-Q-0415, which involves the replacement of end-of-life HP hardware servers supporting a mission-critical backup data center. The procurement includes multiple HPE server components such as SY12000 TAA CTO Frames, SY480 Gen11 servers, Intel Xeon CPUs, memory kits, storage drives, network adapters, and associated hardware maintenance services. Offerors must be authorized HPE resellers and provide all specified line items with matching part numbers to meet minimum technical requirements. The FDIC will evaluate proposals using a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) methodology, with vendors required to provide their most favorable discount to the government and preferably submit government-approved terms and conditions. The deadline for offerors to submit questions is 2:00 PM ET on October 21, 2025, and all quotes must be submitted electronically to Kacie Lynch at KLYNCH@fdic.gov by 2:00 PM ET on October 28, 2025.
This solicitation does not contain any set-aside designations and is restricted to direct HPE partners. The total award amount is not specified in the solicitation documents; however, the procurement is structured as a five-year performance period commencing in December 2025. Key submission components include a completed Price Schedule, Section K Representations and Certifications, a Reseller/Partner Agreement or Certificate, and any applicable EULA or Master Service Agreements with warranty terms. The place of performance is the FDIC's Data Center located in Carrollton, Texas (specifically 4025 Midway Rd, Carrollton, TX 75007), with some shipping directed to VASQ locations. The comprehensive hardware refresh is designed to mitigate risks associated with aging equipment and ensure continued operational reliability of the FDIC's mission-critical infrastructure.
