Added: Dec 15, 2017 10:40 am   This is a Presolicitation Notice.

 Public Works Division, Marine Corps Installations East- Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina has a requirement for the rental of High Voltage Flame Resistant Uniforms.  The contractor shall be responsible for providing and laundering all requested uniforms.  The requirement will be for a base year and two (2) twelve month option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the Government.


The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 812332. The industry description for this NAICS code is Industrial Launderers. The size standard for this NAICS code is $38.5 million.


The Government's intent is to issue a firm-fixed price contract to satisfy this requirement.  The acquisition is unrestricted; therefore large and small business concerns may participate.  The Government will solicit and award this contract utilizing FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in accordance with procedures of FAR Subpart 13.5, Simplified Acquisition for Certain Commercial Items.


 The solicitation, M6700118Q1003, will be posted and made available for download via electronic data interchange at FedBizOps, www.fedbizopps.gov.  It is the responsibility of the quoter to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments.  Contractors interested in doing business with the Government shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database website (www.sam.gov) accessed through www.acquisition.gov.  Interest parties must also agree to implement the Department of Defense web-based software application Wide Area Work Flow-Receipt and Acceptance (WAWF-RA/iRAPT) at www.wawf.eb.mil/  WAWF/iRAPT training may be accessed at www.wawftraining.com.  Contractor must also ensure annual representations and certifications are current or completed on the SAM website as well.  All prospective offerors interested in submitting a quote shall have a commercial and Government entity code (CAGE code).
