The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center - Puget Sound) is seeking to procure two High-Pressure Air Compressors (HPACs) with National Stock Number (NSN) 4310-01-098-1301 and part numbers 13/20NL20 for use on a Landing Ship Dock (LSD) vessel supporting SRF-JRMC Detachment Sasebo, Japan. This is a sources sought notice—a market research tool to identify potential vendors with current, relevant capability rather than a formal solicitation—and interested businesses must submit a brief capabilities statement package demonstrating their ability to perform per the attached contract specifications by February 20, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. PDT. The applicable NAICS code is 336611 (Ship Building and Repairing) with a small business size standard of 1,300 employees, and the PSC category is J999 (Non-Nuclear Ship Repair - West). No formal evaluation criteria or feedback regarding submissions will be provided, as this notice is intended solely for planning and information purposes to inform future procurement decisions. The Government retains sole discretion to determine whether to proceed with a competitive procurement based on the responses received.

This procurement carries no set-aside designation and no incumbent contractor or award value information is specified in the notice. The requirement encompasses both replacing and repairing the current HPACs onboard the vessel, as detailed in Allowance Part List 061900412. No specific timeline for performance, delivery schedule, or contract value range is disclosed in this sources sought notice, as the Government is still in the market research phase prior to formal solicitation. Interested vendors should note that submission of a capabilities statement does not guarantee consideration in any subsequent competitive procurement, and responses will not receive formal evaluation or feedback from the contracting office.
