About this opportunity

The Department of Energy Office of Science seeks a domestic-source high-definition oscilloscope (1 unit) with proposals due September 3, 2026. The procurement requires USA-origin manufacturing and raw materials, including no foreign content beyond 35 percent in component parts subject to Buy American Act certification.

Specifications include 4 or 8 analog channels, 16-bit logic with optional additional 16-bit logic, 350 or 500 MHz bandwidth, sample rate up to 2.5 GS/s, 12-bit vertical resolution expandable to 16-bit in high-resolution mode, measurement memory up to 1 GigaPoint, and up to 200,000 trigger history waveforms. The oscilloscope must support simultaneous multi-channel measurements up to 32-bit logic with 8 channels, or up to 16 channels using two connected units via DLMsync with IEEE1588 synchronous support. Additional capabilities required include 12.1-inch touchscreen with traditional oscilloscope control panel, superior noise immunity, logic and serial bus analysis, additional math channels, extensive voltage ranges, and compact, light, portable design.

Place of performance is Lemont, Illinois. The NAICS code is 334515, Instrument Manufacturing for Measuring and Testing Electricity and Electrical Signals; PSC code is 6640, Laboratory Equipment and Supplies.

Offerors must complete Argonne National Laboratory Representations and Certifications (ANL-70A), including Buy American Act certification for offers of $10,000 or more and independent price determination certification for fixed-price offers of $250,000 or more. Argonne's standard Terms and Conditions (Appendix A) apply, incorporating FAR and DEAR clauses with a Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $350,000 and a Micro-Purchase Threshold of $15,000.
