About this opportunity
Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound is procuring heat exchanger tube caps for a Bubbler Heat Exchanger system, specifically requiring two types of copper-nickel tube caps from Lorking Technology LLC. The Naval Supply Systems Command is conducting this procurement as a brand name acquisition under FAR Parts 12 and 13, limiting competition to the original equipment manufacturer or their authorized distributors due to compatibility requirements with existing tooling systems. The solicitation seeks 35 units of P/N CN-200-CAP-P069 and 150 units of P/N CN-200-CAP-P08, both designed for marine pipe solutions. Evaluation criteria will focus on technical specifications, exact parts matching, delivery and lead time capabilities, price competitiveness, and past performance history. Proposals are due by July 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM, with delivery required after July 11, 2025.
This procurement is designated as a 100% small business set-aside, with the government files indicating it may specifically target Women-Owned Small Business enterprises. Lorking Technology LLC (CAGE code: OLLE0) serves as the incumbent original equipment manufacturer, though authorized distributors may compete provided they submit proper authorization documentation from the OEM. The contract will be structured as a firm fixed-price commercial supply agreement, though specific dollar values are not disclosed in the available documentation. The procurement requires delivery of 185 total tube caps to the Ship Repair Facility and Japan Regional Maintenance Center in Yokosuka, Japan. Interested distributors must maintain active registration in the System for Award Management and demonstrate their authorized relationship with Lorking Technology through proper documentation submission.
