Interested contractors must meet the requirements of the Source Approval Program, which involves completing vehicle-level qualification testing at the contractor's expense. This is not an open solicitation, and technical data is not available for this item.
Paragraph 2:
This opportunity does not have a set-aside designation. The applicable NAICS code is likely 333132 (Oil and Gas Field Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing), and the PSC code is 4320 (Engines and Engine Parts). The Government has not identified any potential incumbents or current contractors. The total contract value is not specified, but the quantity of 77 units with a 100% option suggests a potentially significant procurement. Successful qualification as an approved source only provides the opportunity to compete on future solicitations, and does not guarantee any business.
