The National Park Service, Department of Interior, will be soliciting proposals from construction firms having the capability to perform the work described below. This is a PRESOLICITATION notice only and does not constitute a solicitation; accordingly, no response is due at this time. Specific instructions on submitting proposals will be contained in the solicitation documents to be issued on or after April 15, 2020, on Federal Business Opportunities (www.fbo.gov) and FedConnect.net. Search by referencing the solicitation number (140P4220R0014). Responses will be due approximately 30 days following issuance of the anticipate solicitation.

Paper copies of this solicitation will not be issues and telephone requests or fax request for this solicitation will not be accepted.

Project Description: REPAIR WOOD ELEMENTS OF THE MANSION CUPOLA HAMPTON NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE, TOWSON, MD: Restoration of the cupola, including but not limited to: removal and replacement of slate roof at perimeter of the cupola, restoration of the rusticated wood base, restoration of the entablature and embedded columns, restoration of wood windows, replacement of the cedar roof, replacement of the metal roofs (flat-seam and standing seam) and restoration of the upper and lower finials.

The project is located at the Hampton Mansion; 535 Hampton Lane, Towson, MD 21286

Procurement Type: The Government intends to award a single firm-fixed price contract to the responsible, responsive, contractor submitting the proposal that represents the best value to the Government in accordance with the terms and conditions of the solicitation.

Set-Aside: This is a competitive total small business set-aside limited to small business firms. At the time of solicitation all responsible business concerns may submit proposal, which if submitted in a timely manner, will be considered. Be prepared with your company's DUNS number, available from Dun and Bradstreet at 1-888-546-0024, and your Federal Tax Identification Number (TIN). All vendors should pre-register to save time, by logging onto the System for Award Management (SAM) at the Internet site at http://www.sam.gov.
