About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Land and Maritime is preparing to solicit proposals for a comprehensive supply chain management contract for Water Purification Systems (WPS) for the Department of Defense. The solicitation will cover 672 National Stock Numbers (NSNs) with a core market basket of 571 parts, designed to provide supply, storage, and distribution capabilities for WPS customers worldwide. The procurement will utilize FAR Part 12 for commercial items and will be issued as a Request for Proposal on or about June 6, 2025, via the DIBBS platform. Offerors are required to submit pricing for all 571 core parts on an all-or-none basis, with the government seeking to leverage the latest technologies and business practices to improve customer support at reduced costs. The solicitation will be conducted as an Unrestricted procurement with Other than Full and Open Competition.
The contract will be structured as a Long-Term Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Quantity contract, featuring a four-year base period with one additional twelve-month option period. EPA provisions will allow for annual pricing adjustments, and the contract includes an Add/Delete clause to enable adaptation to changing military customer needs. The procurement is categorized under NAICS 333310 (Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing) and PSC 4610 (Water Purification Equipment), with no specific set-aside designations. The resultant contract will be awarded on an all-or-none basis, with proposals due by July 7, 2025. While specific award values are not disclosed, the comprehensive nature of the solicitation covering 672 NSNs suggests a significant potential contract value for the selected vendor.
