About this opportunity
The Air Mobility Command, under the Department of the Air Force, is seeking a contractor to provide non-personal gymnastics instruction services at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JBMDL) in New Jersey. The contractor must deliver 45-minute gymnastics classes on Mondays or Fridays for children and youth ages 1 to 8 years old across three class types: Mommy & Me (ages 18 months-3 years), Little Hoppers (ages 4-6 years), and Youth Gymnastics (ages 7-10 years), with minimum and maximum enrollment capped at 10 and 16 students per class respectively. Key qualifications include a minimum of 2 years' experience instructing gymnastics at an established facility, current Personal Liability Insurance of at least $300,000 naming JBMDL as an additional insured, completion of mandatory background checks (Installation Records Check, FBI fingerprint check, NAC or NACI, and state criminal history check if applicable), and submission of two professional references. The contractor must complete all background checks and mandatory training within 60 days of contract award, with failure to do so serving as grounds for contract termination. The solicitation was posted on February 27, 2026, with questions due by March 6, 2026, and proposals due by March 13, 2026.
No set-aside designation has been applied to this procurement, and no incumbent contractor information or specific award values have been disclosed in the solicitation materials. The contract will run for a one-year period from March 1, 2026, through February 28, 2027, with services performed at two locations: Falcon Courts North Youth Programs (Building 3830 E. Scott Street) and Dix Youth Programs (1279 Locust Street). Compensation will be based on the contractor's established rates, though all participant payments will be made directly to the Youth Center rather than to the contractor, and the contractor is responsible for submitting monthly invoices to designated payment contacts prior to month-end. The contractor must assume full responsibility for lesson scheduling coordination, lesson plan development, equipment setup and breakdown, attendance record maintenance, and monthly reporting to the Program Coordinator, Arlene Soto, while also arriving 15 minutes early for each session to prepare the lesson area.
