About this opportunity
The General Services Administration (GSA) Public Buildings Service Region 1 is seeking to lease approximately 47,769 ABOA square feet of office space in Boston, Massachusetts. The lease will have a 10-year term with a 5-year firm term. The leased space must meet government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability standards. GSA is considering alternative space that could potentially satisfy its requirements and provide cost savings compared to the current lease.
This procurement is not set-aside for any specific business type. GSA is the current occupant of office and related space in Boston under an expiring lease. The agency will evaluate offers based on the availability of alternative space that can satisfy its requirements, as well as the costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime. Proposals are due by September 30, 2024.
