The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is soliciting offers for comprehensive grounds maintenance services at the Chicago Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) in Aurora, Illinois under solicitation number 697DCK-26-R-00150. Services include grass cutting, edging, weeding, fertilization, vegetation removal, tree and shrub pruning, and litter collection, with all work performed during regular administrative hours (7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday-Friday). The incumbent contractor is Banks Lawncare, which held contract 697DCK-20-C-00139 with a total value of $62,800.00. The base period runs from April 1, 2026 through November 30, 2026, with four optional one-year extensions extending through November 30, 2030, for a total potential contract period of approximately five years. Offerors must submit pricing for the base period and all four option years on a monthly and total basis. The work will be performed at the Chicago ARTCC facility located at 2300 East Devon Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois 60018 (Aurora area), and all contractor employees requiring facility access must undergo background investigations and receive security clearance from the FAA Office of Personnel Security.
