About this opportunity
The Department of Agriculture Forest Service is seeking to procure two office trailers for its Columbia Cascade Dispatch location in Vancouver, Washington to support personnel during the 2025 fire season. The pre-solicitation notice outlines requirements for two specific trailer sizes: one 12' x 56' and another 12' x 32', each equipped with essential office amenities including desks, chairs, electricity hookups, phone and computer ports, air conditioning, and heating. Trailers must also include optional cafe packages with refrigerators, microwaves, and coffee makers, and have secure, lockable doors and windows. The technical requirements specify that the contractor will be responsible for delivery, setup, teardown, and return transportation of the trailers. The pre-solicitation was posted on March 14, 2025, with responses due by April 1, 2025, and the technical point of contact is Christopher Meeker.
The contract opportunity is designated as a total small business set-aside and falls under the NAICS category 532490 for commercial and industrial machinery rental and leasing. The trailers will be delivered to the Gifford Pinchot National Forest dispatch center, with precise coordination required between the vendor and government representatives to ensure proper placement and operational readiness. While specific award values are not mentioned, the contract appears to be a seasonal rental arrangement focused on providing additional workspace during high fire activity periods. The government will conduct initial and final inspections of the trailers, documenting any deficiencies, and requires close communication from the vendor regarding delivery timing. The technical point of contact, Christopher Meeker, can be reached at 360-891-5142 for any additional information or clarifications about the pre-solicitation requirements.
