About this opportunity
The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is seeking technical training courses from Georgia Tech Professional Education for Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane employees. The sole-source solicitation covers three distinct strategic technical courses: SysML Training for Model Authoring Problems, Artificial Intelligence to Solve Modern Challenges, and DevSecOps and Military Applications. Each course is designed to have 10-20 participants and will be credited towards a Georgia Tech Professional Education certificate program. The solicitation is being issued under FAR Part 13 procedures, with proposals due by 12:00 PM Eastern Time on April 17, 2025. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and can submit capability statements, though the government retains discretion over competitive procurement decisions.
The contract will be performed at Westgate Academy in Odon, Indiana, with course delivery periods ranging from April to August 2025 and potential option years through 2026. While the solicitation initially indicates no specific set-aside, the attached Standard Form 1449 suggests a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) designation under NAICS code 611430. Each technical course will be conducted during standard working hours (0800-1700) and requires comprehensive training materials and completion certificates. The vendor will invoice within 5 business days of course completion, with the government reserving the right to reschedule or cancel courses if minimum enrollment is not met. Pricing is structured as firm fixed price, with individual course line items and potential additional course options in future years.
