About this opportunity
GSA's Office of Leasing is seeking expressions of interest for a 10-year office lease (5-year firm term) in Beltsville, Maryland, with responses due by September 8, 2026. The delineated search area is bounded by U.S. Route 29 to the north and west, Interstate 95 to the east, and Cherry Hill Road to the south.
GSA requires 14,173 to 14,881 rentable square feet of office space in a fully serviced lease. The space must meet federal fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability standards and cannot be located in the 1-percent-annual-chance floodplain. Landlords must provide 16 reserved parking spaces plus additional spaces per local code.
The Government currently occupies office space in Beltsville under an expiring lease and will compare this new offering to remaining in the existing building based on economic advantage. The evaluation will factor relocation costs, including physical move costs, tenant improvement replication, telecommunications infrastructure buildout, and agency downtime.
Interested parties must comply with Section 889 of the FY19 National Defense Authorization Act as implemented in the Federal Acquisition Regulation, which establishes telecommunications prohibitions. This is a civilian GSA procurement with no set-aside.

Entities are advised to familiarize themselves with the telecommunications prohibitions outlined under Section 889 of the FY19 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
