About this opportunity
NASA Shared Services Center seeks to procure spare landing gear assemblies for its G-IV aircraft, with proposals due June 16, 2026. The procurement is a total small business set-aside.
The requirement consists of six parts: four Main Wheel Assemblies (P/N 1159SCL403-5) and two Nose Wheel and Bearing Assemblies (P/N 1159SCL205-1). Delivery is required to NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center, Building 4876 Warehouse #6, Edwards, California by July 10, 2026, with flexible scheduling and no expedited shipping requirement. Parts may be supplied in new or overhaul condition as outright purchases.
All responding vendors must state in writing—either in their quote or via email—that they are capable of complying with attached quality documents; failure to provide this compliance statement will result in the quote being deemed non-responsive. Quality requirements include SAE AS9100 certification compliance and Q-1A compliance. All parts must be accompanied by OEM certificates, EASA forms, and FAA Form 8130-3 airworthiness tags, with a Certificate of Conformance provided at delivery. Q-1A mandates that suppliers employ qualified personnel, maintain quality management systems such as AS9100 or AS9120, and retain all material test reports and certifications for ten years.
Technical and contractual questions are due June 4, 2026. Vendors must be SAM.gov registered and provide their Cage Code/UEI, average replenishment order delivery time, and FOB Destination pricing in quotes. Payment terms are NET 30 with firm fixed pricing. Award will be made to the lowest-priced technically acceptable offer. The NAICS code is 336413 (aerospace product and parts manufacturing) and the PSC code is 1680 (miscellaneous aircraft accessories and components).
