About this file
This is a specification document for spare parts procurement for the NASA Airborne Science Program's G-IV aircraft. The requirement consists of six total parts: four Main Wheel Assemblies (P/N 1159SCL403-5) and two Nose Wheel and Bearing Assemblies (P/N 1159SCL205-1). These are spare parts kit items, not aircraft on ground (AOG) emergency purchases. Both overhaul (OH) condition and new condition parts are acceptable provided they are outright purchases. All parts must be accompanied by original equipment manufacturer (OEM) certificates, EASA Forms, and 8130 airworthiness tags.
Delivery is required to NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center, Building 4876 Warehouse #6, Lilly Drive, Edwards, California 93524 by July 10, 2026, with flexible delivery scheduling and no requirement for expedited shipping. Vendors must comply with SAE AS9100 quality standards, Q-1A compliance requirements, and must provide a Certificate of Conformance. All responding vendors must explicitly state their capability to comply with attached quality documents either in their quote or via email; failure to provide this compliance statement will result in the quote being deemed non-responsive and ineligible for award consideration.
