About this opportunity

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration Shared Services Center (NASA/NSSC) has posted a Special Notice for the FY26 NASA OIG IMPACT Conference, a procurement action for conference services scheduled to take place June 8-12, 2026, in Savannah, Georgia. NASA intends to award a sole source contract to Columbia Properties Savannah LLC under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), having determined that this entity is the sole provider capable of delivering the required services. The procurement will be conducted using FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13 procedures for commercial items and services, with the NAICS classification of 721110 (Hotels and Motels). Interested organizations may challenge this sole source determination by submitting written capabilities and qualifications demonstrating their ability to provide the conference services. The point of contact for submissions is Cara Craft at Cara.s.craft@nasa.gov, with a deadline of 1 p.m. Central Standard Time on March 10, 2026.

The NASA OIG IMPACT Conference will serve as an organization-wide training and professional development event for approximately 155 attendees, covering topics including communication, procurement, ethics, FOIA, artificial intelligence, and core OIG functions. The venue must provide 155 guest rooms at per diem rates at the Savannah Marriott Riverfront for four nights, along with conference space configured in crescent rounds with audio-visual services and morning and afternoon snacks for three days. Contractors interested in competing must demonstrate their capability to deliver lodging, conference facilities, and ancillary services by the March 10, 2026 deadline; submissions will be evaluated to determine whether NASA should conduct the procurement competitively. Interested parties should note that only written submissions are acceptable, and NASA Clause 1852.215-84 (Ombudsman) applies to this acquisition. The Government retains the discretion to decide whether to proceed with a competitive procurement based on the capabilities and qualifications received.
